Light, control and live models

Michael's work is built on natural light and in-camera technique. Instead of adding effects in post, he places handheld glass prisms in front of the lens to bend, split and reflect light at the moment of capture. He works exclusively with live models, all 18 and over, and keeps long-term collaborative relationships with subjects across the West Coast.

His specialty is helping people with little or no experience in front of the camera find their confidence in their bodies, in their form and in front of the lens.

Studio work has appeared on the covers of Boudoir Inspiration, Vigor Magazine, HiLife Magazine and Marika Magazine, with featured layouts in Playboy, Boudoir Inspiration, DOMINANTE (France) and Angels International.

Published work

Both volumes of Infinite Prisms were published by Voluptuary Media, LLC on April 20, 2026.

A system, not a happy accident

Michael developed the Prism Control Model™ over two years to make prism photography repeatable. It runs in six steps: lock the base exposure, decide the hierarchy, add geometry slowly, confirm eye sharpness, change ISO before aperture, and shoot across three aperture zones.
